Trader Joe's Earl Grey Bagged Tea

Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

Sonia and I both like Earl Grey, but we aren't exactly connoisseurs. This stuff tastes just as good as any other brands we've had. Cheap. $2.99 for 20 bags.

English black tea. Slightly bitter. Decent source of caffeine. Captain Picard would be pleased.

Until we can get this stuff to materialize in a replicator at the sound of our voice, we'll stick to the Trader Joe's version.

That's all I got for ya. I felt guilty because my last entry was so short. So I figured I'd throw in a bonus review. That and I wanted to use that "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot." line.

4's from both of us.

Bottom line: 8 out of 10.

  1. I'm loving the Star Trek references. I'm not a fan of black tea or caffeine, so I'll probably pass this one up - but sounds like a good deal for those who enjoy both. :)

  2. Thanks, DUI...the only reason I even tried Earl Grey tea in the first place was because of Star Trek. It's not bad...but yeah, if you're not already addicted to caffeine, it's probably best to avoid it altogether.

  4. When the Christmas Season comes around again, you should definitely try TJ's Vanilla and Cinnamon Black tea. Not just your average black tea, but an AMAZING TEA that I would bet to get some pretty high spoon ratings.
It is so good, even I review it in my tea blog!

  5. tea bags are of poor quality as tea seeps out every time while stepping. or must come with a whole in it! terrible. And the tea wasn't that impressive. I have 2-3 cups of tea daily. i've never experienced any bag do this, and consistently.
