Maybe Nathan likes it better? ;) ) It's not a TJ brand, but Kerrygold butter (unsalted) is incredible. SOOOOO sweet that you want to eat it straight. (Really!) The reason I suggest it here is because my new coffee addiction is a mug of Cafe Pajaro with a big chunk of Kerrygold butter mixed in. No cream, no sugar. And the saturated butterfat is actually healthy too! Sounds crazy, but give it a shot! And please review the Kerrygold--it's amazing!!stevenphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15522753337306943820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8233184155385734517.post-36672103689390872242013-09-10T22:46:18.292-04:002013-09-10T22:46:18.292-04:00Agree 100%. Haven't tried TJ's NO Style, tried to like the Peaberry but couldn't, liked the Free Trade Sumatra but not the regular. As someone who likes good coffee flavor, I gotta give Pajaro a solid 8-8.5. But I'm not the Grand Poobah of this blog. ;)stevenphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15522753337306943820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8233184155385734517.post-32438677825842917782012-11-29T23:28:33.003-05:002012-11-29T23:28:33.003-05:00Oh, I SO disagree with you on this one. I am having a Cafe Pajaro latte as I type this, and as a latte or a straight cup of coffee, Cafe Pajaro is rich, dark and bold - just like it claims on its label. It is hands down, one of my favorites at TJ's. (Kona is too pricy for my wallet.)Websterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13518858062969978457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8233184155385734517.post-82987056745306183522012-08-10T12:23:15.997-04:002012-08-10T12:23:15.997-04:00Just tried the Trader Joe's 100% Kona coffee w...Just tried the Trader Joe's 100% Kona coffee whole bean given to me as a gift. Opened the can and noticed it doesn't SMELL right (although can says it won't expire until 5/2014). Ground the beans and brewed it up and noticed it doesn't TASTE right, either. Wierd stuff, and I'd have to say it's NOT what I've experienced when drinking other Kona coffees.Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16543590600307471833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8233184155385734517.post-57533154499307827112012-01-22T04:01:20.470-05:002012-01-22T04:01:20.470-05:00My go-to blend for quite some time has been TJ'...My go-to blend for quite some time has been TJ's Ultra Dark Dark Sumatra. Some of the other blends I've tried have tasted watered down. Here in the Chicago suburbs, it's $5.99 for a canister (12 oz., I think?). It used to be an even better deal -- $4.99!Sharon Bondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17229385252087700191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8233184155385734517.post-33385838127432711692012-01-20T14:02:27.069-05:002012-01-20T14:02:27.069-05:00It's great to get a coffee review from them. ...It's great to get a coffee review from them. We're currently working our way through a canister of Breakfast Blend, and it's really good and smooth. I will need to explore Trader Joe's options, I too, am somewhat of a novice. I will say their Kona coffee ain't from Kona.. It was the worst tasting, tho I did see an old lady go gaga over it saying "wow, Kona Coffee!!" I guess some folks will believe anything.. True Kona does not come cheap and definitely has a rich, deep flavor which TJ's doesn't have... Haven't seen the new flavor you mentioned but will check it out.Kalei's Best Friendhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12331539743751163269noreply@blogger.com
